Dazhao Temple, also known as Wuliang Si (Infinite Temple) in Mandarin, is a Buddhist monastery built in 1579 which is located in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

Zhao means temple in the Tibetan language.

It is also called Yinfo Si (Silver Buddha Temple) as there is a rare silver statue of Sakyamuni that measures 2.5 meters high in the temple.

The construction work on the temple was completed in 1580 during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). It is the oldest Gelugpa temple in Inner Mongolia.

There was a major reconstruction in 1640, although much of the original architectural style was retained. 

Dazhao Temple is a well-known tourist attraction both at home and abroad. The splendid temple building, precious cultural relics and artwork, as well as the mysterious Buddhist dance and music, constitute a unique temple culture.

In February 2020 -- in order to express gratitude and respect to medical workers -- from the date of the resumption of operations of the scenic spot to Dec 31, 2020, a ticket-free policy was implemented for all medical workers across the country.
