Maple Leaf Bilingual School -- Horinger
Located in the Horinger new area, the Maple Leaf Bilingual School -- Horinger is the first bilingual school that is set to open in Hohhot, capital of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
Maple Leaf Educational Systems will be responsible for the school’s operation and management.
The bilingual school will have five sections: a kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, senior high school and a school for international students. A total of 4,550 students can be enrolled.
Currently, preparations for the school project are progressing smoothly, officials said and enrollment will start in September.
According to the plan, primary and elementary school courses will be opened in September 2020, highlighting the characteristics of English and an all-around development of students.
There will be 10 English lessons given per week, including five lessons given by Chinese teachers and five given by foreign teachers.
In September 2021, preschool and international student sections will be added, to provide a complete and consistent 12-year curriculum.
