Inner Mongolia deputy motions receive quick responses
Feng Yanli, a deputy to the National People's Congress from North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, made two motions at this year's national two sessions and recently received well thought-out replies from relevant authorities.
Feng suggested that the country carry out some major scientific and technological projects in Inner Mongolia based on the region's abundance of resources and strong military industry.
Secondly, she pointed out that policies to attract talent and strengthen higher education resources in border minority areas should be implemented to boost the development of Inner Mongolia.
"After I made my motions, the relevant authorities immediately contacted me via video, responded to my motions, and said they would be dealt with at a later date," Feng said in an interview with Inner Mongolia Daily.
I was impressed with their quick response, Feng added.
