The 19th China Inner Mongolia Grassland Culture Festival is scheduled to be held in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, from July 30 to Aug 31.

This was stated at a press conference held by the Inner Mongolia government's information office on July 26.

The cultural festival consists of six sections: an opening ceremony, the performance of specially invited works, the performance of outstanding plays, thematic musical performances, exhibition activities and a closing ceremony.

Over a month-long period, a total of 25 activities will showcase the unique charm of Inner Mongolia's grassland culture.

An opening ceremony will be staged on the evening of July 30 at the Inner Mongolia Gymnasium, where more than 20 famous singers and bands from Inner Mongolia will perform a Mongolian-style concert.
