A total of four culture and tourism projects from North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region made the list of preferred projects for the integrated development of intangible cultural heritage and tourism in China.

The list was recently compiled and announced by the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association.

The list aims to discover and cultivate outstanding projects for the integrated development of intangible cultural heritage and tourism and promote mutual learning and integration of culture and tourism.

There were a total of 200 selected projects for the integrated development of intangible cultural heritage and tourism this year, which were selected after application, expert review, and joint review and publicity.

The selected projects are divided into four categories - intangible cultural heritage tourist attractions, intangible cultural heritage tourist towns, intangible cultural heritage tourist blocks, and intangible cultural heritage tourist villages.

The Inner Mongolia projects on the list are Inner Mongolia Yellow River Culture, Commerce and Tourism Walking Street, Hohhot Monishan Intangible Cultural Town, Xikou village in Arxan city, and Xiwan village in Baotou.
