The Inner Mongolia delegation to the first session of the 14th National People's Congress held a press conference in capital Beijing on the afternoon of March 9.

Spokesperson Guo Xin introduced the delegation's situation and, together with NPC deputies Gong Mingzhu, Su He and Wang Zhiping, answered questions from media reporters from People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency, and China Media Group.

Guo Xin introduced that Inner Mongolia autonomous region elected a total of 58 deputies to the 14th National People's Congress.

During the session, the deputies seriously deliberated various reports and motions, and made suggestions.

The delegation also submitted one motion and made 93 suggestions in the fields of new energy development, ecological environment protection, the vitalization of the dairy industry, food security, the development of meat, beef and sheep industries, improvement in the level of medical services, as well as infrastructure construction in rural pastoral areas and border areas.
