As spring reaches its peak, the azalea flower viewing season in Hulunbuir city, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, kicked off in Yingshanhong Ecological Park on April 20.

According to statistics, the park welcomed over 20,000 visitors on that day, and it is expected to reach its peak visitor influx during the upcoming May Day holiday.

The Hinggan azalea is the city flower of Hulunbuir, and these flowers are mainly distributed in the southern foothills of the Greater Hinggan Mountains.

With the launch of the azalea flower viewing season, Hulunbuir has introduced four exquisite flower-viewing routes, as well as nine integrated cultural and tourism routes including intangible cultural heritage tourism, folk custom tourism, cross-border tourism, and self-driving tourism.
