Inner Mongolia promotes tourism in Shanghai

The "Summer Invitation from Inner Mongolia" tourism and investment promotion event, organized by the Inner Mongolia Department of Culture and Tourism, took place in Shanghai on June 11.

The Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, the Inner Mongolia Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, and representatives from over 40 enterprises participated in the event.

Presentations were given by the Inner Mongolia Department of Culture and Tourism as well as the cities of Hohhot, Hulunbuir, Chifeng, and Ordos, during which they showcased their unique tourism products.

Focusing on the theme "Meet on the Grasslands, Encounter Naadam," the promotional event highlighted key aspects such as travel routes, local cuisine, accommodations, activities, and souvenirs.

A series of immersive travel guides, premium tourism routes, and investment projects were unveiled, inviting friends from Shanghai and across the nation to experience the unique summer charm of Inner Mongolia and explore opportunities for investment and business development in the region.

Xilin Gol League highlighted the 34th Inner Mongolia Grassland Naadam Festival, during which visitors will have the opportunity to experience over 10 exclusive Naadam itineraries.

Additionally, the organizers have reserved 200 spots for tourists to participate in the opening ceremony.

The Inner Mongolia Civil Airport Group promoted its Shanghai-Mongolia flight routes, Hohhot "Branch Line Express," and "Transfer via Hohhot" services.

It also reached a marketing cooperation agreement with Spring Airlines to promote Naadam-themed flights during the summer and made an agreement with China Eastern Airlines to work together to operate wide-body aircraft for the Shanghai-Inner Mongolia route during the summer.

Inner Mongolia Cultural Tourism Group showcased key projects such as the China Cold Pole Village, Jinlianchuan Grassland, and Ordos International Camping Town, offering comprehensive investment opportunities in terms of funding, technology, equipment, and operations.

The event concluded with the signing of several agreements. The Xiliin Gol League Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Radio Bureau signed an OTA platform cooperation agreement with Huacheng International Travel Group to drive online traffic. It also signed a mutual customer source agreement with Hangzhou Beiguo Travel Agency Co.

Tourism enterprises from Inner Mongolia and Shanghai engaged in in-depth discussions on investment, business development, and tourism product development in Inner Mongolia.
