Mongolian families visit Inner Mongolia for cultural exchanges
On July 27, a delegation of 15 families led by the Mongolian Women's Federation met with the Inner Mongolia Women's Federation at the Inner Mongolia Women and Children's Center for a bilateral family exchange forum.
During the forum, the Inner Mongolia Women's Federation presented gifts to the visiting Mongolian families and, in partnership with Zhaoju Eye Hospital, conducted eye health screenings for Mongolian women and children.
In recent years, the Inner Mongolia Women's Federation has actively promoted exchanges between women and children from China and Mongolia. Their collaborative efforts have focused on enhancing women's education, supporting women's entrepreneurship and innovation, improving maternal and child health services, and fostering family exchanges between the two countries.
During the 4th China-Mongolia Expo in 2023, the two organizations signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on Women and Children, further solidifying their partnership.
Over the past two years, the Inner Mongolia Women's Federation, in collaboration with healthcare departments, has held two training sessions for Mongolian healthcare professionals on the prevention and treatment of women's cancers, one session on the prevention of childhood myopia, and two workshops on entrepreneurship and handicraft skills for Mongolian women.
These initiatives have strengthened relations and mutual understanding between China and Mongolia.
