The arrival of flight EU2837 at Hulunbuir airport on Feb 13 marked the relaunch of the route connecting Mohe city in Northeast China's Heilongjiang province with Hailaar in Hulunbuir city, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
After a decade-long hiatus, this flight route reconnects Hulunbuir and Mohe, creating a vital link for enhanced communication and cooperation between the two cities.
The Hailaar-Mohe route, operated by C909 aircraft (flight numbers EU2837/EU2838), runs every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
The flight departs Mohe at 12:30 pm and arrives at Hulunbuir at 1:40 pm. It returns from Hulunbuir at 2:25 pm and lands in Mohe at 3:30 pm.
This route is expected to strengthen trade and tourism between the two regions. Hulunbuir is renowned for its vast grasslands and the unique Aoluguya reindeer tribe, while Mohe's Beiji village is a one-of-a-kind destination for viewing the northern lights and experiencing the natural phenomena of polar day and night.
