Yili wins global honors at 2025 World Dairy Summit
China's dairy giant Yili won two categories of Dairy Innovation Award at the 2025 World Dairy Summit in Santiago, Chile on Oct 21.
Yili was the only Chinese enterprise among this year's winners and won the awards for four consecutive years.
Yili's Xinhuo Bone Energy Formula Milk Powder won the Innovation in Dairy Products for Human Nutrition Award. The product combines protein, colostrum basic protein, calcium, vitamins, sodium hyaluronate, and herbal ingredients such as eucommia leaf and polygonatum root, offering a "three-dimensional bone-muscle synergy" formula inspired by traditional Eastern dietary principles to promote musculoskeletal health.
Meanwhile, Yili Ambrosial "For a Bluer Ocean" Packaging received the Innovation in Dairy Packaging and Transparency Award. It is the world's first to feature de-inkable high-barrier labels, alongside recyclable PET bottles, plant-based biodegradable liners, and ocean-friendly cartons – setting a new benchmark for sustainable dairy packaging solutions.
In recent years, Yili has achieved six International Dairy Federation (IDF) awards and 11 nominations, spanning fields such as product innovation, sustainable packaging, food safety and quality management, consumer nutrition, and marketing. These honors highlight Yili’s innovation across its entire value chain and underscore the growing global influence of China's dairy industry.
Yili's global innovation network – comprising 15 research and innovation centers worldwide – has been the foundation of its success.
By integrating global talent and resources and continuously increasing R&D investment, Yili has built a diverse portfolio of health-oriented products for all ages and lifestyles. Today, Yili’s products are available in over 60 countries and regions, and the company continues to receive top international accolades, including the IDF Dairy Innovation Award, the World Dairy Innovation Award, the Asia Quality Excellence Award, and the Thailand FDA Quality Award.
