The Mongolian Teaching and Research Base for Primary and Middle Schools in Baotou was officially launched at Baotou Mongolian Middle School in Baotou, in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region on Dec 10, according to the Baotou Daily.

Officials said the base aims to improve the quality of teaching of the Mongolian language in the city.

Those at the base will conduct research on textbooks, teaching methods and learning methods, as well as carry out in-depth subject research on specific issues in curriculum reform and teaching reform.
