A viewing stand has also been built and the Zhenghe Memorial House is undergoing renovations. The renovated memorial house will showcase the history and culture of Zhenghe's voyage achievements by modern technologies.

Named after the famous sailor Zhenghe from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), the 122-hectare park opened to the public in 2008 and is a great place to take in views of the Yangtze River.
