Taicang Customs has been actively promoting the benefits of the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) policy in recent years, contributing to the deepening of Sino-German exchanges and cooperation. 

Currently, Taicang Customs has assisted six German-funded enterprises in obtaining customs AEO status, thereby facilitating the continuous optimization of the port's business environment.

One such beneficiary is Zollner Electronics, a German electronic manufacturing service provider whose products are widely used in fields such as new energy vehicles, semiconductors, railways, measurement testing, aviation, and healthcare.

Two years ago, Zollner Electronics set out to enhance its overall business and management capabilities. Upon learning of this, Taicang Customs informed the company of the facilitation measures available to AEO-certified enterprises.

Additionally, Taicang Customs formed a team of credit cultivation experts who visited the company several times to provide on-site guidance, answer inquiries, and help identify over 10 areas for standardization and improvement, effectively enhancing the company's compliance management level.

"Through the AEO certification process, our internal control management level has been further enhanced, leading to an overall 8 percent increase in production efficiency. Additionally, the inspection rate in import and export processes has significantly decreased, reducing customs clearance time by 50 percent," said Qian Yun, general manager of the company.

The improvement in management efficiency has driven the growth of the company's profits. This year, the company moved into a new factory building to further expand its production capacity to meet the growing demand.

In the coming year, Taicang Customs will continue to intensify efforts to cultivate AEO enterprises, with a focus on serving key German-funded enterprises, promoting high-quality development in Sino-German cooperation.
