Jinpu New Area in Dalian, Liaoning province, will work with the China Academy of Industrial Internet in fields such as industrial internet platform construction and industry ecological layout, according to a recent strategic cooperation agreement.
Their cooperation will help harness the area’s advantages, which are driven by innovation in the manufacturing industry, and ensure its high-quality development.
The two sides will explore the integrated and innovative application of industrial Internet in high-end equipment manufacturing, fine division of labor, special steel new materials, and aviation manufacturing, as well as explore innovative regional business landing mechanisms and promote the full development of regional business.
The 3rd China Industrial Internet Contest "Industrial Internet and Artificial Intelligence" grand final was held simultaneously with the signing ceremony. Twenty-six outstanding solutions that focused on digitalization of the manufacturing industry and application scenarios were awarded.
In recent years, China’s industrial internet has made improvements in network capacity and accelerated integration with application in more industries in greater depth, as well as become an increasingly strong driving force for various industries.
Earlier this year, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) issued an action plan for the innovative development of industrial internet from 2021 to 2023, making arrangements for priorities in work related to industrial internet in the next three years.
