A signing ceremony for a technology commercialization project was held on Jan 21 in the Jinpu New Area. The project, formally known as the China Electronic Technology Group Corporation Technology Commercialization Center (Dalian, Liaoning), is a milestone in Jinpu’s development. Jinpu is committed to bringing more research achievements to commercialization and deepening integration of innovation and industrial application.

This project aims to enhance cooperation between China Electronic Technology Group Corporation (CETC) and local enterprises in Jinpu, and promote CETC’s scientific technology commercialization in Jinpu.

Other projects signed at the ceremony included an automotive chip lab project, smart ocean project and Dalian silver-based electronic materials (silver powder) project.

The automotive chip lab project will promote the development of Jinpu's new energy vehicle industry, and research on electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles will be carried out.

The smart ocean project will comprehensively improve the utilization rate of Jinpu’s marine resources and promote its marine economic development.

The Dalian silver-based electronic materials (silver powder) project, with a planned investment of 700 million yuan ($110 million), will build a high-end silver powder R&D and manufacturing base, creating a national flexible electronics industry cluster and helping reduce China’s dependence on high-end silver powder imports.
