Companies flock to Jinpu in Jan-April

Jinpu New Area welcomed 10,125 new market entities from January to April of this year, marking a year-on-year increase of 40.61 percent for that time period, according to the Jinpu Administration for Market Regulation. By the end of April, there were 219,100 market entities of all kinds in the whole area, up by 8.94 percent year on year.

Among the newly signed-up market entities are 5,295 self-employed households, up by 63.63 percent year on year, the biggest growth among all groups. Their registered capital reached 463 million yuan ($68.71 million), up by 62.21 percent year on year.

In the January-April period, Jinpu registered 4,830 new enterprises, up by 21.82 percent year on year, including 4,784 new domestic enterprises which reported a growth rate of 23.08 percent and a registered capital of 28.59 billion yuan, marking an increase of 34.79 percent. The numbers of newly-registered entities of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries were respectively 244, 889, and 8,992, with corresponding growth rates of 115.93 percent, 2.18 percent, and 44.61 percent.
