The semiconductor sector in Jinpu New Area has gained significant momentum with the official launch and operation of the Tokai Carbon and Dalian Shuangji Technology Headquarters Base Project.
This state-of-the-art facility, a collaboration between Japan's Tokai Carbon Co Ltd and Dalian Shuangji Technology Industry Co Ltd that spans 30,000 square meters, has a substantial investment of approximately 270 million yuan ($37.21 million).
Focusing on the production of high-purity graphite products, the facility is set to cater to critical industries, including semiconductors, solar energy, optical fibers, LEDs, 3D glass phone molds, high-temperature treatments, EDM, and electrochemistry.
Tokai Carbon Co Ltd, a pioneer in graphite electrode manufacturing with a century-long legacy, brings its industry-leading expertise to the venture.
The new headquarters is projected to achieve an annual output value of 600 million yuan, enhancing its market presence in semiconductor-related fields, such as silicon wafers and silicon carbide.
This development is expected to significantly accelerate the growth of Jinpu and Dalian's semiconductor industry.
