The main structure of a new plant funded by Huanxun Precision Products (Nantong) Co Ltd was recently completed and officials said the plant was expected to pass inspection by the end of August, officials said.

The Huanxun plant -- specializing in mold die casting and auto parts manufacturing -- is located in Rudong Economic Development Zone in Rudong county, Nantong, in Jiangsu province. It has received $36 million in investment from its owners.

The project to build the facility, with a total area of 26,000 square meters, broke ground in March 2018.

The plant will mainly produce auto parts, electronic communications accessories, decorative accessories and other products -- supplying Microsoft, Sony, Lenovo, Huawei, LV, Nestle and other well-known enterprises at home and abroad.

The manufacturing facility is expected to have an annual production capacity of 4,000 sets of precision molds and 5 million pieces of communications connectors. Annual sales are expected to reach 2 billion yuan ($290 million).

“We have cooperated with Nestlé for more than 20 years, and 80 percent of the metal parts on Nestlé’s coffee machines are produced by our company. ” said Qiu Zhaorong, CEO of Huanxun Precision Products (Nantong) Co Ltd .

Qiu said Rudong was chosen as the site for the plant because of more complete industrial facilities compared with other similar economic zones in Lianyuangang in Jiangsu province and those in Anhui provinces.
