Heels tapped, smiles flashed and arms whirled, as the 2019 Rudong Square Dance Competition concluded in the Rudong county sports center in Nantong, Jiangsu province, on Aug 8.

The popular tournament attracted the participation of 400 contestants in 19 teams.

During the competition, Taekwondo performances, qipao dress fashion shows, Latin American dances and other performances were also staged, winning warm applause from the audience of more than 1,000.

After fierce competition, the Haizhiyun dance team from Rudong Economic Development Zone, the Feiyan dance team from Chahe town and the Duhai dance team from Rudong Hi-tech Zone won the top prizes.
