Rudong enterprises save $86.16m from tax reduction policies
As of August, China's new tax reduction policies had saved enterprises 612 million yuan ($86.16 million) in Rudong county, Nantong, East China’s Jiangsu province, according to the Rudong tax bureau.
Rudong’s private enterprises benefited the most from the lowering of value-added tax (VAT) rates, which started on April 1, and other measures that took effect earlier in the year. Reduced taxes on private enterprises accounted for more than 60 percent of the total saved tax.
To ensure the implementation of the tax reduction policy, the Rudong tax bureau strengthened related policy publicity and business coaching, 100 percent covering the enterprises qualified for the preferential policies.
