Rudong Fuzhan Technology Co is expected to build the world's largest production center for flexible laminates at a cost of $100 million.

The center's first phase has been built and the first production line was put into operation Feb 16. Through great efforts, 6,000 square meters of flexible copper clad laminates were produced and delivered in only four days. 

Three more production lines will be installed by the end of April, and the sales revenue is expected to reach 120 million yuan ($16.95 million) in 2020. 

Flexible copper clad laminate is essential for small and light electronic communication devices. It is as thin as a strand of hair and can be bent to any shape. As 5G technology is developing strongly at present, the laminate's high-speed power saving capacities is proving significant.

The company's flexible laminates can stand extreme temperatures from minus 30 C and to 85 C. Their service life lasts about five years. Special designs can also be produced according to clients' different needs. 

To date, over 200 enterprises have expressed their intention to cooperate with the company, including some international brands like Huawei and Apple. 

The production center will also develop composite membranes, radiating aluminum laminates, insulation pastes and other materials. Its annual revenue is estimated to exceed 250 million yuan after the center is completed.
