A delegation led by Cao Junqiang, deputy Party secretary and head of Nanzheng district, Hanzhong, Shaanxi province, paid a visit to Rudong county in Nantong, Jiangsu province on June 21. The two are cooperating closely to alleviate poverty.

The delegation visited the workshop for photovoltaic solar panels of Nantong QS Solar Co, the copper clad production lines of Jiang Dong Fittings Equipment Co, and the safety glove production lines of Honghan Safeguard Technology Co.

In the modern governance center, the delegation learned about a platform integrating the government affairs of towns around the county. Cao praised the platform, and expressed hope that Nanzheng could also make use of it and several officials could be dispatched to offer guidance in Nanzheng.

Cao said that the two sides have both benefited from cooperation in many fields, including poverty alleviation, and he hopes for stronger future cooperation.

The two sides are expected to strengthen cooperation in city development, social management, industrial development, technology, and agricultural products, said Chen Huiyu, head of Rudong county.
