A whole industry chain project on healthy food signed to settle in Rudong National Rural Industrial Integration Development Demonstration Park in May. With investment of more than 2.3 billion yuan ($338 million) by Shanghai's Tramy Group, the project is scheduled to start construction in August and will promote the integrated development of the park's agriculture, processing and service industries.

The demonstration park has a planned construction area of 20 square kilometers and a layout of one core and four areas – a core area, an agricultural products processing area, a fine fruit and vegetable planting area, a high-quality rice and wheat planting area and a demonstration area for circular agriculture. New business formats such as leisure agriculture, rural tourism and creative agriculture will be developed in the park.

With a planned investment of 400 million yuan in 2020, the park is about to build a fruit and vegetable base covering 500 hectares, an agricultural product processing area covering 14.7 ha and a 5,000-square-meter public service center. A 10,000-sq-m modern agricultural product logistics center and some one-tour projects themed on ecology, health and botany are also in the works.

Tramy Group is a national leading enterprise in agriculture industrialization and a national demonstration enterprise in the agro-processing industry. Attracted by its development layout, service characteristics and favorable location, Tramy Group chose to invest in the park.

The industrial chain projects include a green and healthy food processing base with a total investment of nearly 1.5 billion yuan and a green fruit and vegetable planting and pig breeding project with an investment of 604 million yuan.
