As early autumn arrives in Nantong, Jiangsu province, the city is bustling with the harvest season showcasing a diverse range of farm produce.

In Xishe village, located in Hai'an, villagers diligently harvest water chestnuts. The picturesque scene of villagers rowing buckets to gather water chestnuts in the water fields creates this water town's unique and charming image.

Spanning over 800 mu (53.33 hectares), the Guyixin Fig Planting Base in Rugao is one of the largest in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai. It has recently become a popular attraction for residents due to its bountiful harvest. Dried figs from this base are also highly sought after.
