On Sept 10, Jiangdong Fittings Equipment held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new intelligent manufacturing plant in the Zhongtian Industrial Park, Hekou town, Rudong county, Nantong.

Jiangdong, a subsidiary of Jiangsu Zhongtian Technology, was founded in 1995 and specializes in producing power fittings, optical cable fittings, photovoltaic brackets, composite insulators, and lightning arresters. The company is a leader in the ultra-high voltage equipment industry.

The new project spans 6.2 hectares with a total investment of 1 billion yuan ($140.83 million). Once completed, it is expected to generate annual revenue of 2 billion yuan. The project will significantly improve Hekou town's industrial structure and the county's intelligent communications and power grid equipment industry.

The plant is set to attract top talent and foster collaboration across the industry's supply chain, creating a strong industrial cluster effect.
