In the run-up to the upcoming 2024 Haimen Marathon, final preparations are taking place and excitement is building in Haimen district of Nantong city, East China's Jiangsu province, where the event will be staged.

By the wafting autumn breeze and wonderful scenery along the route, participants will fall in love with the district. Here are some tourist spots for visitors to fully enjoy the place.

In the Zhang Jian Memorial Hall, an exquisite Jiangnan-style national scenic spot, visitors can explore the exhibition hall showcasing achievements of Zhang Jian (1853-1926), who was born in Haimen and was a renowned Chinese entrepreneur, politician and educator.

Here, amid a blend of classical charm and modern vibes, visitors can appreciate the fascinating life and cultural legacy of Zhang Jian.

Elsewhere in the Yisheng Cultural Park, people can tour the Yisheng Wine Culture Museum, a pottery art experience hall, century-old fermentation pools, traditional brewing technique showcases and other sights of interest.

The park serves as a provincial-level industrial tourism area offering a variety of great experiences including touring, exploring and indulging in the timeless allure of Yisheng wine.
