Visit Nantong Museum for Feng Zikai's comics

The Feng Zikai's Fine Art Comics Exhibition kicked off at the Nantong Museum in Jiangsu province on Nov 15 and is scheduled to run until Nov 24.

The exhibition displayed Feng's 36 comic works focusing on his protection of students, joy of innocence, poetic feelings, and leisure life.

Feng Zikai is the pioneer of modern Chinese comic art and a renowned writer, educator, translator, and book cover artist. Throughout his life, he created numerous comic works that have nourished and inspired several generations of Chinese people, according to Yi E, director of the Research Department of the China National Art Museum and curator of the exhibition.

After visiting the exhibition, Xue Wenling, a student from the School of Arts at Nantong University, expressed great benefit. She said, "Feng's art usually captures everyday life, showing people and animals. The clean lines create a vibe that's refreshing, natural, and friendly."

Feng's grandson Feng Yu also appeared on the opening day, expressing expectations for more cultural exchanges with Nantong residents.
