On Nov 20, the plan for the Zero-Carbon Industrial Park in the Rudong Coastal Economic Development Zone was officially announced, marking a significant step toward advancing green industry in the region.

Zheng Yi, general manager of customer operations at Envision Energy, highlighted that Rudong offers abundant renewable energy resources, strategic port advantages, and robust industrial foundation, making it a key area for renewable energy development, both within Jiangsu and across the country. The region is also poised to become a prominent hub for high-end new energy equipment industries.

Envision Energy, a global leader in green technology that integrates wind, solar, hydrogen storage, energy internet of things, and zero-carbon industrial park solutions, is set to partner with Rudong to develop this pioneering project.

Chen Huiyu, Rudong's Party secretary, assured that the Coastal Economic Development Zone would offer optimal services and policies to support the industrial park's growth. The development is poised to prioritize green industrial growth, pollution reduction, and the implementation of smart zero-carbon management strategies.

Rudong, often referred to as China's green energy capital, is home to Asia's largest county-level offshore wind farm, the nation's largest offshore energy island, and the largest LNG hub in the Yangtze River Delta region.
