Nantong Hexianji Food Technology, a Qidong-based enterprise, has been officially authorized to use the Lyusi Jellyfish geographical indication (GI) label, marking it the third company in the city to receive this prestigious certification.

Lyusi Jellyfish, a traditional delicacy of Qidong, is prized for its thick texture, crispness, and fresh taste. Nantong Hexianji Food Technology, established in 2021, specializes in deep seafood processing, offering a range of premium products, including Lyusi Jellyfish, swimming crabs, and hairtail fish, catering to the growing consumer demand for high-quality seafood.

In addition to Lyusi Jellyfish, applications for GI certification have also been submitted for Lyusi Hairtail and Lyusi Swimming Crab to the China National Intellectual Property Administration. Once approved, these designations will further enhance brand protection and recognition for Lyusi Port's seafood products.
