The "fishery plus photovoltaic" power generation project operated by Lingyang Farm in Rudong, Nantong, is a strong example of how to improve land utilization efficiency.

Occupying an area of 450.67 hectares, the project combines a photovoltaic power station with aquaculture, constructing a photovoltaic power station on fishponds.

Rudong has built photovoltaic projects with an installed capacity of over 2.36 million kilowatts. Its photovoltaic grid connected electrical capacity is expected to reach 2.14 billion kilowatt hours in 2025, which is equivalent to saving 638,000 metric tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 2.57 million tons.
