Project construction in full swing in NHIZ
The construction of 16 projects - including eight projects from the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone - started in Tongzhou district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province on Feb 11.
The eight projects in the zone have received 6.1 billion yuan ($891.50 million) in funding and are related to the integrated circuits, new energy, and intelligent equipment industries.
Among them is the new production base of IC package substrates funded by Dongguan Hong Yuen Electronics Co Ltd. The facility is expected to produce 860,000 square meters of IC package substrates annually.
According to the authorities, the facility will further enhance the vitality of the industrial cluster for new generation of information technology in the zone.
Gao Hongjun, member of the standing committee of the CPC Tongzhou district committee, said that the high-tech zone aims to start construction of at least 21 projects this year.
Next, the high-tech zone will focus on improving its business environment and providing better services to speed up project construction, Gao added.
