NHIZ drives project groundbreakings, signings
The Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (NHIZ) held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Foxuelai Semiconductor Equipment Manufacturing Project and a signing event for a number of key projects on Jan 12, marking a strong start to the zone's high-quality development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-2030).
The Foxuelai Semiconductor Equipment Manufacturing Project is being funded and constructed by Guangdong Fuxuelai Electric, with a registered capital of 30 million yuan ($4.3 million). It focuses on key segments of the semiconductor and photovoltaic industries, aiming to produce high-end core components for advanced equipment.
Tang Quanguo, the project director, said that the company chose NHIZ for its exceptional business environment and the development of the semiconductor industry chain. The company will advance the project safely and efficiently, striving for early production and operational success while establishing itself as a technologically advanced, green, and safety-oriented benchmark enterprise.
On the same day, NHIZ also organized a signing event for key projects, spanning cutting-edge fields such as liquid cooling technology, precision manufacturing, and the digital industry.
