NETDA keeps voluntary spirit strong

In 1995, a kind soul calling himself Mo Wensui, whose real name was Yang Chunyuan – living in Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province – dedicated himself to helping local poor students and destitute families.

Over the next 20 years, Yang spent most of his spare time volunteering, especially to aid poverty-stricken families and caring for left-behind children.

Yang passed away on July 12, 2019 at the age of 83.

Two years later, the Nantong Economic & Technological Development Area or NETDA pays tribute to Yang. It held a demonstration activity on July 12 for volunteer services in the development zone and the event undertook to implement a group of 17 Mo Wensui volunteer service key projects.
