Decoding NETDA: Sinotrans Suzhong

At Sinotrans Suzhong logistics center in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA), a fleet of new energy electric container trucks loaded with goods has departed for Shanghai Port.

Sinotrans Suzhong is a subsidiary of Sinotrans Limited, which is part of the China Merchants Group. With the hardware support of NETDA, the company has grown into a comprehensive logistics service provider covering sea, land, air, and warehousing. 

The company has developed several key platforms. Its Nantong Jiangshan Road warehousing and distribution platform integrates cloud computing and Internet of Things technology, while the Nantong Comprehensive Bonded Zone offers one-stop customs clearance and bonded services. 

Through comprehensive logistics solutions, the company has integrated into multiple facets of customers' supply chains, driving cost reductions and operational efficiency gains. 

For example, in the field of offshore logistics, the company provides large-scale offshore equipment towing, semi-submersible loading and unloading, and other services for enterprises such as CNPC Offshore Engineering and China Merchants Heavy Industry.

To strengthen green logistics, the company has invested a significant sum in new energy electric heavy trucks, focusing on the collection and distribution routes from Nantong to Shanghai Port and Taicang Port.
