A flight training base located in Xianxiang town, Ningbo's Yinzhou district was one of the most popular tourism destinations in the city during the National Day holiday ending on Oct 7.

Visitors were attracted by the base's blue sea, lush mountains, and a vast stretch of flowers.

Built on a derelict shipyard, the training base, which spans 58,000 square meters, was put into use in October 2020. It has been designated as a provincial training base for aero models and science, technology and sports events.
