Ningbo Jiufeng Mountain to launch enchanting night tour

Jiufeng Mountain – located in Ningbo city in East China's Zhejiang province – will be offering a sneak peek on Feb 12 of its new night tour experience with a preview performance.

This exciting pre-show will introduce a fantasy world illuminated by stunning light displays – setting the stage for the full experience later.

As spring begins to arrive, the mountain is in full bloom, with over 6,000 plum trees coming into flower and the rich and delightful scent of plums filling the air.

Jiufeng's Ancient Plum Garden has created a picturesque setting where visitors can fully enjoy the plum blossom spectacle, with clusters of flowers bursting into bloom in a glorious display.

When the night tour begins, Jiufeng Mountain will be transformed into a visual spectacular. The mountain's landscapes, trees and buildings will be brought to life with dazzling lights – while artificial snow will create a dreamy winter atmosphere, transporting visitors into a "snowy wonderland".

A major highlight of the event will be an immersive performance based on a local legend about Jiufeng Mountain. This performance will feature an impressive combination of stage designs, music and visuals, creating a captivating sensory experience for onlookers.

Visitors will also get the chance to interact with "time-traveling characters" who will perform scenes from the mountain's rich history.

These characters – including reclusive sages or scholars – will engage in activities like poetry reading and painting, offering visitors a deeper connection to Jiufeng's cultural heritage.

Additionally, the Plum Blossom Market will stay open until 9:00 pm during the night tour. The market features a variety of stalls offering special souvenirs, traditional snacks and creative dishes, all inspired by the plum blossoms.

While the full-night tour experience will officially launch soon, the preview on Feb 12 will provide a magical introduction to the upcoming festivities.
