Through nearly half a century's efforts, Dalad Banner in Ordos has transformed from preventing desertification to utilizing it, turning the incurable deserts into a vast treasure of resources with great potential.

On Sept 10, attendees of COP 13 took a field trip to Dalad Banner of the Kubuqi desert comprehensive control area and were amazed by its achievements in combating desertification.
