Dongda Cashmere Products Co, founded in 1991, was incorporated into Inner Mongolia Dongda Mengguwang Group in April 1996. The Group now has 58 subsidiaries involved in ten industrial clusters, including biotechnology, agriculture & husbandry, cashmere, fur clothing, photoelectric devices, civil construction projects, hotels, trade logistics, and cultural tourism.

The Group has won many honorary titles, such as China's "Leading Enterprise in Poverty Relief", "Demonstration Enterprise for Stable Food Processing", and "Demonstration Enterprise for Agricultural and Livestock Products Processing", as well as awards granted by authorities of the autonomous region, including "Top 20 Industrial Enterprises of Inner Mongolia" and "Quality Award of the Autonomous Region Chairman".

In 2014, it was included in the "Top 500 private manufactures of China" and "Top 30 Private Enterprises of Inner Mongolia".
