The China division final for the 15th China-Mongolia-Russia beauty contest wrapped up in Shanghai on Nov 15.

After a fierce competition, 15 competitors won the right to take part in the final competition held in Manzhouli, Inner Mongolia autonomous region this December. Representing China, they will compete against 30 Russian and 15 Mongolian women.

The division finals between Mongolia and Russia are expected to be held soon.

Initiated in 2003, the beauty contest has been held for 14 consecutive years. With themes of health, beauty, peace and friendship, the contest serves as a platform to promote cooperation in culture, tourism and trade among the three countries.

This year’s beauty contest was hosted by the People’s Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Trans-Baikal Territory Government in Russia and the Dornod Provincial Government of Mongolia.
