The 2019 World Wrestling King Golden Belt Competition -- or WGBC --, as well the Sixth International Mongolia Boke Golden Belt Competition concluded in the sports center in Ordos, a city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Dec 22, according to local media reports.

Sponsored by Ordos municipal government, the competition attracted nearly 300 contestants from Inner Mongolia and Mongolia, Russia, Kazakhstan and other countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.

Compared with previous competitions, new wrestling suits were adopted in this year's two-day competition, with white as the main color, which officials said were simple and more comfortable.

According to organizers of the event, this year's 2019 WGBC pageant included two events: the WGBC and WGBC Sixth International Mongolia Boke Golden Belt Competition.

After a fierce competition, a player from Mongolia won the championship.

The WGBC was founded in Inner Mongolia in 2014.

It is a top international professional wrestling event independently developed by local Chinese sports companies, with independently formulated rules.

Officials said it is the first and only international wrestling event with independent property rights in China.
