Chairwoman greets returning medical workers in Ordos

Bu Xiaolin, chairwoman of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, paid a visit to Ordos on March 28 -- to express her gratitude to the medical staff members taking a break in the city after finishing a medical aid tour in the novel coronavirus-hit Hubei province and to investigate preparations for the resumption of schools.

As of March 27, a total of 572 medical staff members from Inner Mongolia’s four medical teams and two medical transfer teams have returned from Hubei and all of them are resting in Ordos.

Bu extended her warmest regards and high respect to the medical staff and through a video meeting learned about the difficulties and problems they had faced.

She urged the local government to do a good job in support services for the returning medical heroes.

In addition, Bu paid a visit to Xiandai Senior High School in the Dongsheng district of Ordos to check out its virus prevention and control preparations.
