The 2020 Ordos Rowing Master Competition was held in Ordos city in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region on Aug 15 and 16.

Organizers said it was the second time the city had held a rowing event.

During the event, 40 teams from 10 Chinese cities and around 300 private enthusiasts and entrepreneurs participated in competitions in six categories.

Among these competitions were races for 1,000-meter single oar, 1000-meter sculls and a 6-kilometer chase around Wulanmulun Lake in Ordos.

To further the event, a special activity featuring rowing, running and archery with the characteristics of Inner Mongolia was added, allowing participants to experience the charm of grassland sports competition at close range.
