Ordos prepares to hold annual two sessions

The annual two sessions of Ordos city in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region will soon be held in the city’s Kangbashi district.

The preparation work for the two sessions is currently underway.

The fourth session of the fourth Ordos municipal people's congress will be held from March 3 to 5. Deputies will listen to and deliberate Ordos’ government work report, examine the implementation of Ordos’ national economic and social development plan for 2020 and approve the draft plan for national economic and social development in 2021.

The deputies will examine Ordos' implementation of fiscal budgets in 2020 and the draft plan for 2021. They will also listen to and deliberate the work reports of the standing committee of the Ordos municipal people's congress, Ordos intermediate people's court and Ordos municipal people's procuratorate, and participate in the session's election.

The fourth session of the fourth Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Ordos committee will be held from March 2 to 5. CPPCC members will listen to and deliberate the CPPCC Ordos committee's reports on the proposals delivered at last year's meeting and review this year's submissions.

Deputies arrived at the Ulan International Hotel in Ejin Horoo Banner on March 1.

They received temperature checks and nucleic acid testing upon arrival. Closed management has been implemented for the two sessions, and going out or receiving visitors is not allowed except under exceptional circumstances.
