Ordos to hold festival to celebrate farmers' harvest

The city of Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region will hold the Chinese farmers' harvest festival on Sept 23 to celebrate the harvest amid the centenary of the Communist Party of China.
This year's festival venue will be Yifeng village in Subuerga town, Ejin Horoo Banner.
A variety of activities will take place during the festival, highlighting agricultural and livestock product exhibitions and promotions, food tasting, and artistic and cultural performances.
The festival is aimed at creating a strong harvest atmosphere and showcasing the development achievements of rural areas.
