Homestay industry brings fortune to Ordos grassland village

Since the beginning of this year, a village deep in the Subohan Prairie in Ejin Horoo Banner in North China's Ordos has been making efforts to develop a homestay industry with the help of its excellent environmental resources and strong ethnic culture.
A homestay cluster of Mongolian yurts — a skin or felt-covered dwelling used by local nomads — has already finished construction, and is expected to bring in some income for locals.
