Adhering to the concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets," Uxin Banner in the city of Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region has prioritized its environmental health and made significant progress in this regard.
As a model county for both greening and the development of a comprehensive well-off ecological civilization, Uxin Banner strives to contribute new forces to the development of an important ecological security barrier on the northern border of the country.

A series of efforts have been made to reduce air, water, and soil pollution and treat sandy land and deserts.
In recent years, forest coverage and grassland vegetation coverage in the banner have steadily increased, reaching 32.89 percent and 80 percent, respectively.
There is "good" or "excellent" air quality on 92.6 percent of days.
Meanwhile, remarkable results have been achieved on Maowusu sandy land.
