Ordos celebrates Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival

The city of Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region held a Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival on Sept 23 to celebrate the harvest amid the centenary of the Communist Party of China.
This year's festival venue was Yifeng village in Subuerga town, Ejin Horoo Banner.
A variety of activities were held during the festival, including agricultural and livestock product exhibitions and promotions, food tasting, and artistic and cultural performances.

Residents and tourists tasted and bought natural honey, beef, mutton, fresh vegetables, and dairy products.
A display of traditional agricultural tools was also put on, showcasing handmade products and demonstrating agricultural work methods. Tourists had the opportunity to sample items.
At an opening ceremony of the festival, awards were granted to the operators of agricultural cooperatives that have performed strongly, as well as the leaders responsible for the rapid development of the village-level collective economy.
