The Ordos Private Economy Promotion Regulations was recently officially released and is scheduled to come into effect on Jan 1, 2022.
The document consists of six chapters and 35 articles that determine the functions and responsibilities of governments at all levels and relevant departments, safeguard measures for promoting the private sector, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of private economic organizations from the legislative level.
It stipulates that the people's governments of cities, counties, and districts should incorporate the development of the private sector into regional economic and social development plans, establish and improve work coordination mechanisms, formulate promotion policies, improve the service guarantee system, and coordinate to solve major problems in development.
Regulations in the second chapter stipulate that the people's governments of cities, banners, counties and districts should arrange special funds in their fiscal budgets to support the development of the private sector, provide support for eligible project land, and roll out measures to solve problems in land use and financing in the development process of enterprises.
The regulations have made clear provisions on protecting the rights and interests of private economic organizations and optimizing the business environment and public services.
