To greet the coming of the New Year, the Kangbashi district in the city of Ordos – located in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – recently went to town, going full out to decorate itself with bright lanterns, colorful lights and other vivid and inspiring decorations, creating a strong and bubbly festive atmosphere.
It's not hard to see why: 2022 marks the Year of Tiger. As the third sign in the Chinese zodiac cycle of a rotating cast of 12 symbolic animals, the tiger is the symbol of justice, bravery and majesty in traditional Chinese culture.
